| The villagers of Bawdrip had to wait until 1923 for this
halt. Consisting of a single concrete platform on the up side of the line,
built just one mile down the line from Cossington,
to serve the local village of Bawdrip. The platform was originally built with no shelter, but a small one was erected in 1924, a year after opening.
There was a small booking office located at the rear of the platform. Like a lot of other remote stations, Bawdrip received its drinking water by rail. |
