| Situated between Templecombe and Stalbridge, this was the smallest station on the line. The single platform being only about 150 feet long. There was a goods siding leading to a milk dock at the northern end of the platform. The siding also had a small coal depot and cattle pens. |

The siding was controlled by a local ground frame. There was a level crossing at the Southern end of the platform, this being worked by hand. The station was unique to the S&D in being the only main line station without a passing loop. |
